Gary Schubert CEO and Executive Director for CAPES,
NPO MBA/CMR BSBA / University of Nebraska
@ Omaha & MBA/ John Sperling School of Business (Graduated Cum Laude). Over
a twenty-five year business career my capabilities include operating in the Fortune 500 arena, starting businesses , national
sales management in start-up businesses and a multitude of supplementary consultancy exertion. While growing up in Omaha in a European household, education, reading, studying and discussions about success in
one's chosen fields were the order of the day. The significance of matching up one's skills to one's career is foremost to
the triumph of an entire nation. Being involved with CAPES, NPO allows me to express my personal knowledge of the importance
of matching-up personal skills with one's career and paying forward what I've learned in over twenty-five years in business.
While our country has been displaced by others as far as educational prowess, CAPES, NPO is destined/designed to lead our
great nations undereducated into worldwide prominence in the arena of education and vocational aptitude. I'm gratified to
be part of such a propitious organization and share my awareness of this dilemma with an outstanding board of directors at
CAPES, NPO.
Greg Huff President of CAPES, NPO Bachelor’s
of Marketing Management from Western Governors University (WGU); MBA at University of Phoenix John Sperling School of
Business (Expected Graduation April 2012) I
have worked in the food industry for over ten years and the education industry for over 2 years and in both industries I have
seen the startling issues that confront us in education. Having earned my bachelors and being in the middle of my MBA I know
of the disparity that exists in our public and private education system. There simply is no one place to turn for information
and assistance in understanding and qualifying to attend the schools and receive the education you need. There are
not many resources to let potential students know what the right degree or education is for the jobs they want.
CAPES is that answer. By providing our five step
program, which costs the student NOTHING, we are able to plot a pathway that more accurately projects what students need
to take them through their education and in to the careers they are interested in and want. CAPES came to me as a way
to level the playing field for those that are under-served by our current system. The underprivileged, veterans, minorities
and many others of these communities will benefit from a company that does not want their money, but does care about their
future and will help build the pathway that is best for them. At CAPES our business is the success of our students
in the classroom and their career satisfaction. In conclusion I want to thank you for taking the time to invest in CAPES.
Whether by just reading about us or donating, I am grateful everyday for the opportunity this country and God has given
me to serve each of you. I work with the best Board of Directors in the world and I look forward to you having the opportunity
to meet Gary, Richard, Barbara, Chris, Pat and Renée here in the future. Please call or email us for more information.
I look forward to serving you and welcome to CAPES.
Renée Mitchell Vice President and Director
of Education for CAPES, NPO BFA Creative Writing
from University of Nebraska Omaha & MFA in Writing from University of Nebraska Omaha (Expected Graduation 2014) Held
Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses in the Securities Industry Workforce Development
Management, Corporate Training and Development, Grant Writing, Online Journalism and Web Design Project CAPES goes beyond career assessment by helping the student select the best of three personalized choices
and then puts the resources needed to pursue that choice into their hands, all with no charge to the student or bias to a
particular institution. CAPES, NPO services are available to everyone, but
I am especially excited about partnering with organizations who can put us in touch with minorities, seniors, veterans, unemployed
or low income individuals and those people involved in rehabilitation and corrections programs. CAPES, NPO will enable
people to acquire the educational and occupational skills, training and support needed to achieve academic and employment
success.
Richard Fleming Chief Operations Officer Throughout the years I have seen the success achieved by those who are properly guided toward
educational and vocational paths. I have also seen those who have missed the success they could have achieved had they received
the proper guidance. I got involved with CAPES to help fill the needs of those who need that guidance and those opportunities.
When I was honorably discharged from the Army
years ago, I was fortunate to have a college degree and some idea of what I wanted to do for a career. I made a few adjustments
and have been fortunate to spend 24 years working for Fortune 100 companies in sales and marketing. I have also had the honor
to preside over a religious charitable organization for 6 years and see donations sustain families during hard times. Seeing
charitable donations do good drives me with my work at CAPES.
Unfortunately many of my peers who were discharged from the Army along with me had a much rougher go of it. Their
military skills did not translate to civilian jobs. CAPES helps honorably separated military personnel, and other deserving
Americans get the educational guidance and resources necessary to succeed in today's competitive work environment.

Barbara Brostrom Chief
Relationship Officer Bachelors of Science Degree from Iowa State University Barbara has nearly thirty years working in the
Fortune 100 corporate arena. Her areas of expertise include sales, marketing and management. Most recently
Barbara has had the pleasure and challenges of assisting with the start-up of new businesses. She has previously served on
other boards and looks forward to serving with CAPES, NPO. Being in on the ground floor and having the pleasure
of bringing CAPES, NPO to the multitudes of individuals who may benefit from our services without financial attachments
as well as to assist in driving CAPES, NPO to new heights is a challenge that we are looking forward to.
CAPES, NPO is all about discovering numerous opportunities for those who may feel they are in a “rut”,
not able to express their current skill sets properly to the business community, in need of career guidance or unaware of
where their true talents and interests may lie and to guide individuals in their educational career. It is a thrill to be
in on the ground work of such a worthy organization. To bring new hope and direction to those who have been laid off, misplaced,
overlooked or misguided on their career path. To help make positive changes in people’s lives and communities –
CAPES, NPO is where it is at!
